Should I join the CIOB or RICS?

I have just finished my degree in Quantity Surveying and I am wondering which institution I should join. Although the RICS is pushed while doing me degree, I feel that they are a amalgamation of many professional fields and do not concentrate enough on Quantity Surveyors. Also fees for the RICS are twice those for the CIOB. Any guidance would be gratefully received.
